Pendleton Surf Club members regularly gather at two primary surf zones on base. Whether you are new to the area or just getting back in the water, understanding these breaks will help you stay safe, respect the lineup, and enjoy your sessions.
Del Mar Jetty (DMJ)
A well-known and dynamic Camp Pendleton break with shifting sandbars, changing peaks, and strong currents. Best approached with awareness and respect for the conditions.
Church (San Onofre)
A more approachable and welcoming break where members gather, progress, and connect. Home of the annual Military Surf Contest each October.
