This is a great event that goes every year at La Jolla Shores.  I have been doing it for over 10 years now and it is the most rewarding event.  Veterans of all ages and disabilities come from all over the United States to partake in several activities throughout the week.  You can volunteer at whatever sport you like or are comfortable with, but I am choosing the surfing event.

Please look at the site for information and then submit your forms accordingly.

Fantasy Surf Leauge

We have our fantasy surfing league through the World Surf League websites and app. Below is the link to participate.  You create your own profile, pick your team, then join the league we started.  The password is StruggleBus.  The league’s name is The Pendleton Surf Club, and this is free and can be fun.

We talk about making change, we want and desire a better world. Well, these are ways to assist the future to be a better place. Between helping our active duty, veterans, and now the local community by helping kids, we are creating balance that will help so many people in intangible ways. I realize we can only do so much; I am asking you to do your best to participate, give a little of yourselves for others and watch how your life and family’s lives will change and grow for the better.

We have a busy summer ahead with plenty of activities to be involved with.  From supporting events for the active duty, veterans, and our local community with kids and adults alike, lend a hand.

We are all getting into the water and enjoying ourselves with the warm water and south swells approaching.  Please be aware of the water conditions, your fellow surfers, and each other.  You never know when things could go wrong.

Keep enjoying our local breaks and surfing as much as you can.  Please share your stories on our social media so we can share the epic summer ahead together.

I hope to see you in the water and at some events.

Mission of the Camp Pendleton Surf Club

The Camp Pendleton Surf Club is made up of surfers on Active duty and their families who are stationed aboard Camp Pendleton. The club is also open to reservists, retirees, DOD personnel and all branches of service stationed aboard Camp Pendleton and surrounding community. The club has been established to spread the positive force of surfing and to the military members here on the base that make the sacrifices on a daily basis for our country’s freedoms.

Our club is fortunate that our base is located with 25 miles of coastline and some of the best breaks in Southern California, which we are privileged to have right in our own back yard. No matter what your level or degree of surfing is, you are invited to come and share your stories, make new ones, and become a member of our special club.
