Good Morning Surfers.

Thank you all that came out this past Sunday at San Onofre. We had some great waves surfing, a great breakfast, sharing good times with our families, and meeting new people. For those that drive from deep San Diego, I thank you for making the Trek. If any of you took pictures please send them to me so that we can include them on our sight or social media if you are comfortable with doing so.

This weekend there will be no Surfing Madonna Project surfing clinic. It will pick up the following weekend. They have asked me to spearhead the Meeting on August 21, 2021. I will be there to setup and tear down and track all participants that show up. I would really like some help that morning if some of you can make it. I will be there early to surf and then setup. We will be at the south side of the Oceanside Pier, 0900. Thank you to Elizabeth and CJ for coming this past Saturday to help!! Huge!!!!!

The Jimmy Miller Foundation is happening today and will be every other week from here on out.

The Single Marine Program is every Friday at the Main lifeguard tower from 11:00-14:00 every Friday. If you are wanting to also have a Unit PT session, James Koch heads the program and arrange for the equipment and personnel to support your training. This is a great way to get Marines and Sailors involved. Best part is it is FREE!!!

If you are active duty and want to get volunteer hours these are great opportunities to do so. We can sign or get your hours confirmed for your time. There is a volunteer service medal you can get by doing volunteer community service.

We have a confirmed team for the Oceanside longboarding contest. Please go to the link and get the information. Please come down and support us. August 7th-8th, 2021. Over 350 participants will be there. We will be setting up our tent and helping the Oceanside surf club setup the contest area the night before. https://oceansidelongboardsurfingclub.org

Our next meetings will be August 22, 0900 at DMJ’s then August 28 at Churches same time. As always depending on the swell some of us will hit the dawn patrol session. So feel free to do so.

Once again thank you all for the support, and positivity that you bring. It was great to meet some young Marines and Sailors this past weekend who have found surfing as a way to better their lives and families. If anyone is ever in need of something, please reach out and we will find a way to assist.

The pictures are of one of our members daughter who has been coming regularly and finally stood up for the first time this past weekend!!!! Congrats!!! The other pic is from the Surfing Madonna project.
